Praiseworthy
Luke 1:46-56. What’s on your mind? What frequents your brain waves most often? Whatever it is, most likely it is something that you value. Often it has a name and a face! We are advised by no less than Paul the Apostle to dwell on whatever is “praiseworthy.” An exemplary practitioner of this concept is no less than a teenage girl! You may have heard of her. Her mind was focused on what, and who, she found praiseworthy above all else. Her praise is worth a listen!

    Is He Worthy?
Luke 1:57-80. Is he/she worthy?” This is a great diagnostic question to determine whether I should date/marry someone! It’s also a great diagnostic question for everything from friendship to hiring to choosing a mechanic! It’s also a question we are often called on to answer about God. Is He worthy? Whether it’s a skeptic probing for answers, or that voice in our own souls, it’s a defining question worth pursuing! Zechariah, long living in disappointment, had his own tussle with God. Let’s hear his conclusion!

    What Good is God
Luke 1:5-25. What good is God? Haven’t you been tempted to ask that question in times of discouragement and disappointment? Don’t worry, you aren’t alone! Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist, got into a debate with the angel Gabriel – imagine that! The underlying reason for his argument is that life had passed him by and left him empty-handed, despite his faithfulness in serving God. You may have felt the same frustration. Listen in as we examine the debate, and the encouraging outcome.
