    Why should I get real?
Because everything will be made known - and that's good!
Because we are going to answer for our words and actions - and the Spirit is good!

    Luke 11:5-13

    James 1:5-8
5If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That person should not expect to receive anything from the LORD. 8Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

    Joy to the World
Psalm 98 - We sing Joy to the World as a Christmas hymn, but it is so much more! Jesus is coming back, and God has called us to actively work and worship as we wait on that great Day! A good reminder of the great things to come for those who follow Jesus!

    Come Thou Long Expected Jesus
Do you feel the anticipation? Perhaps more than any other time of year, Christmas is a time of anticipation. When we go back to the first Christmas, we find a sense of almost exhausted anticipation among the people of Israel. The Old Testament promise of a Messiah began as early as Genesis 3, building with God's promises to Abraham and then King David, all the way up through the prophets, both major and minor. Then there was silence, a pregnant pause of 400 years. Israel was waiting, watching, praying, hoping for the fulfillment of God's promises, wondering when the long-expected Messiah would arrive. Take a trip from Old Testament to New as we remember their anticipation, and stir our own.
