It isn’t based on myth or wishful thinking, but on historic places and people who can be searched out! Good news! Bethlehem’s humble status reminds us for all eternity that our God comes to the simple, the small, the humble. Good news! The very meaning of the word “Bethlehem” reminds us that the One Who was born there is the bread of life, the One Who can satisfy our deepest longing and quench our greatest thirst. Good news! Good news indeed! Rejoice!
