Somebody loves you… more than you know!

Good news, isn’t it? In a world overflowing with bad news, in a world of loneliness and longing, what if you could find someone who genuinely, tenaciously loves you – yes, you? Someone who always has your back, someone who is always with you and always for you, someone who loves you – quite literally – to death? Even beyond! That would indeed be good news! And that’s what we celebrate! That’s what we are all about, because that’s what He is all about! Check it out:

Ephesians 2:4-7 (ESV)
4  But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5  even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—6  and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

If you would like to be loved, with the greatest love, if you would like to explore the possibilities, it would be our profound honor and joy to walk alongside you in that great adventure. MCC celebrates the greatest love Sunday mornings at 10:15. Come as you are! Somebody really does love you… more than you know!

Welcome to Metrocrest Community Church!

Who are we?

Metrocrest Community Church is a family of friends, a melting pot of different people, from all ages and backgrounds drawn together by a common pursuit of God. Whoever you are, wherever you’re from, you will receive a very warm welcome at MCC. We will be glad to see you!

When to arrive?

If it’s your first visit then it’s probably best to turn up around 10:00 am. If you are driving then you’ll be pleased to hear that there is plenty of free parking.  You’ll be greeted at the door by a friendly face who will offer you a warm handshake and welcome. He/she will pass you some information about the church and explain where different resources and classes are located. For directions to reach us, please see the Map & Directions page.

What to wear?

This is easy. Wear something comfortable! We are casual and informal! We like to be comfortable, and we want you to be comfortable! We’re here to visit with Family, Friends, and God.

What to expect?

For some people going anywhere for the first time can be nerve-racking. We all had a ‘first day’ at church, too, so relax. We get it. You’ll find we are a friendly bunch. If you don’t understand something, please, simply ask. To avoid any worries here’s a quick summary of what you can expect at MCC.

The doors open early, as Sunday school classes start at 9:00 AM – for kids, youth and adults. You are welcome to pour yourself a cup of coffee and grab a donut or two as you find your seat. The worship service kicks off at 10:15 AM with upbeat contemporary worship music. You are welcome to sing along, or simply enjoy. Everyone participates in the musical worship, but at about 11:00 AM the kids are excused for our “Empowering Kids” children’s church program. We then have a message from the Bible that is relevant and meaningful to our lives.

Whether you are just looking into Christianity or Church for the first time, or have been a Christian for many years, our aim is for you to be encouraged and inspired by the morning. Hopefully you will draw closer to God as we strive to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.

Is it just Sundays?

Absolutely not! God is with us all week long and we seek to please Him all week long! We’re not perfect and we do make mistakes, but we desire to make a positive difference in everything we do. To help strengthen our relationships with God we have various midweek small group fellowships. These consist of 6-12 folks gathering in someone’s home. Small group fellowships are a great way to get to know others in the church and to be real with each other about everyday living. No question is off-limits and you’ll find other people also exploring God for the first time. For more information, please check out our Groups page.   Let’s enjoy that journey together!
