Wayne McDonald - Pastor |
Metrocrest Community Church (MCC) was founded in 1990 by its pastor, Wayne McDonald. After graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Theology degree in 1986, Wayne served for several years in singles and youth ministries in traditional Baptist fellowships. The concept of MCC was born out of his desire to provide a thoroughly Christian ministry that would be accessible and appealing to folks who just weren’t satisfied with the typical church experience.
Wayne and his wife Brenda are long-time Coppell residents with two beautiful, gifted daughters, Claire and Meredith. Wayne’s interests include reading, history and music. He is also a sports enthusiast who loves youth soccer and cheering on his favorite teams, the Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers, and, of course, the Dallas Cowboys.

Bill Randolph - Elder & Church Founder |
Elder Bill Randolph graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1972 and is a Certified Public Accountant. Bill also trained at Dallas Theological Seminary from 1986-91. He is one of the original church founders, and a lifelong single who says, “I have found my family in the church.” Bill considers his service at Metrocrest Community Church “the single most important thing I do.”
Bill is an avid reader of novels and Christian non-fiction. Bill also loves to working in his yard.

Steve Hill - Elder |
Steve and his family began attending MCC over 6 years ago and his passion is for youth. He began working with middle & high school kids in the early 1980’s and was hooked.
Steve recently started Vertical Growth, MCC’s youth group and is looking forward to a tremendous future for our kids.
Steve and his wife Barb have been married nearly 20 years and have 2 great kids, Jacob and Noah.
The Hill family enjoys sports of all kinds but really live for baseball. When not coaching or playing, they enjoy watching the Rangers and the new Frisco Roughriders.
