Becoming more and more like Christ in the way we think, talk, act and react stands as a monumental task! Yet that has been God’s purpose for each of His children since Jesus first called out, “Follow me!”
Common sense says that in order to follow Christ, we must first know His footsteps! We rely on the Bible for this guidance. His example, His teaching, and the direction of His closest followers are all found there.
At MCC we pursue greater understanding of the way of Christ, and a greater skill level in practicing the things of God. We follow the footsteps of Jesus by studying, encouraging, challenging and cheering one another on through our various group activities. |

Sunday School |
| MCC offers Sunday School classes grouped by age for children, teenage youth and adults. All classes are held on Sunday mornings at 9:00a.m., just before the 10:15 a.m. worship services. |
Childhood
Childhood is a time when kids are like sponges! The children’s ministry at MCC focuses on training children in basic Bible knowledge and life applications – lessons that will stick with them for a lifetime.
Teenage
The teenage years overflow with challenges, and most teens make life-altering decisions during these years. MCC’s goal is to equip teens with a Biblical frame of reference for personal decision-making.
Adult
For many adults, attempting to read and understand the Bible on their own can be overwhelming. Adult Sunday School addresses this sense of inadequacy by coaching adults to use specific Bible study methods so that they can understand and apply the Bible for themselves. The group also applies these methods as they study and learn together from different books of the Bible. |

Small Groups |
MCC’s small groups provide an ongoing environment for loving one another through fellowship and maturing in discipleship through study and discussion. Past topics and materials covered include The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, Experiencing Spiritual Breakthroughs and Secrets of the Vine by Bruce Wilkinson, and Loving God by Charles Colson.
Groups typically meet twice a month, and currently take turns meeting in members’ homes. The get-togethers are often initiated by a covered-dish supper before the study gets underway. Participating in a small group is a great way for folks to get to know and care for one another while learning about themselves! |

Women’s Bible Study |
| Women’s Bible Study at MCC offers an opportunity for women to enjoy one another’s friendship as well as to encourage one another through shared study. The ladies of MCC have recently used The Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson and The Power of a Praying Woman by Stormie Omartian as guides for their spiritual journey. |

Prayer Fellowship |
| Jesus encouraged us to ask, seek and knock with the confidence that our heavenly Father both hears and responds (Matthew 7:7-11). The MCC Prayer Fellowship regularly prays for the needs of the congregation and the purposes of God. Everyone is welcome to join in – even if praying out loud is out of your comfort zone! |
