CALLED TO GROW

MCC is being Called to Grow!
MCC has two acres of land in Coppell on Sandy Lake Road, just east of MacArthur. Plans are drawn up for an incredible new church and weekly prayer meetings on that land are helping guide MCC in its decisions.

At the beginning of 2009, Metrocrest decided that we were ready to move ahead with our plans to build the "Front Porch Church". A capital campaign was designed, developed and implemented, with the result, the Called to Grow slogan/catch-phrase was born

The campaign was a huge success, beginning with the kick-off Gala Dinner celebration, and continuing on from there. With donations and contributions flowing in, the next steps in procurring financing started in late summer, early fall of last year.

The economy stepped in and helped us all decide that as strong as the Call to Grow is, God wasn't quite ready for the church to be built. The Called to Grow spirit is in all of us, and we continue to move ahead in our plans and efforts to build the Front Porch Church. So stayed tuned, updates will be posted periodically.
